2025 Permanent Tax Exemptions

In 2025, Florida is replacing the temporary sales tax holidays for hurricane supplies with a permanent year-round sales tax exemption on specific disaster preparedness items. This change, effective August 1, 2025, eliminates the need to wait for designated tax-free periods and allows residents to purchase qualifying items tax-free at any time
